The Director General of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms, Dr. Joe Abah has briefed the Ag Head of Service of the Fedration, Mrs Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita on functions and current activities of the Bureau. The briefing which took place at the Conference room of the Head of Service on November 17th 2015 had in attendance officials of the Office of the Head of Service and Directors and Heads of Department of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms.

In his presentation at the meeting, Dr. Abah informed the Head of Service of the creation of the Bureau in 2013 to Initiate, Coordinate, Implement and Communicate the Public Service Reforms. Other issues discussed include resuscitated Steering Committee on Reforms, reforms in MDAs, IPPIS, Public Procurement, Privatisation, Pay reform, Monetization, tenure policy, transparency and accountability and other reform programmes.

In her closing remarks, Mrs Oyo-Ita thanked Dr. Abah for the presentation called for fruitful collaboration with the Bureau in the prosecution of Public Service Reforms.
